Guilty Gear Strive's very own anime series, Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers, will air in 2025. The show got its first teaser trailer during Anime Expo 2024, which you can watch above.
To be clear, this isn't just a retelling of Strive's already completely cinematic story mode. This is an additional narrative that focuses on Sin, consistent protagonist Sol, and a new character who apparently hates Gears. If that sentence makes no sense whatsoever, then we're hoping that the anime itself will make things easier to understand. To say Guilty Gear's lore is convoluted would be a drastic understatement (even though it is pretty cool).
Anyway, the anime looks like it has potential. It's using 3D animation, but it seems to be high quality — and the art direction is obviously spot on so far.

I have faith this anime will strive for perfection.
I assume that new character will be dlc when the anime launches.
I think it looks nice. The premise is simple but it leaves a lot of room to work with, story-wise.
This looks okay although what's the timeline? Was it before Sol beat Happy Chaos / I-No in the game?
But i wish SF got a new anime movie or tv series especially with how popular SF 6 right now. Capcom could hire the studio who made that short anime for Spy x Family collabs because that Chun li vs Yor fight looks great.
